About Us

Eden Urban Gardens, LLC is a woman-owned USDA Certified Organic Urban Farm and Real Organic Food Project Certified in Cincinnati, OH that produces vegetables, fruits, culinary & medicinal herbs, and microgreens. We started with three hand tools and a vision to grow & provide quality organic produce to operate as our own farm. Eden Urban Gardens, LLC had no traditional financial backing at it’s inception and has faced much adversity in our farming journey, which has taken many years to acquire the very basic infrastructures: land, water, fencing, tools & equipment. What started with 1200 sq. ft. has grown to a little over half an acre 22,000 sq. ft. of a multi-site urban fields farmed using National Organic Practices, permaculture, and regenerative practices. Eden Urban Gardens, LLC is solely reliant on produce sales for its existence and to support our family.

April, owner & farmer, has a Bachalors of Science and is also a graduate of the Cincinnati State Sustainable Agriculture Business Management. She worked for many years doing health education & wellness programming within the urban community. Due to her own family’s experiences of food insecurity & financial challenges early on, special care is taken to reach those nutritionally at risk and in need. Eden Urban Gardens offers year round Small and Large Farm Box Subscriptions that can be weekly or bi-weekly with options to skip for out of town week! Produce can also be purchased a la carte produce from online ordering store.
